Jetson ONE 2025: Everything We Know About the Updated Personal EV Drone

Swedish personal air mobility company Jetson has released updated specifications for the 2025 version of its ONE single-seat electric drone, and the improvements are significant. The company confirmed a 25% increase in flight time — now reaching up to 15 minutes on a single charge — alongside a redesigned carbon fiber frame that reduces total vehicle weight by 8 kilograms.

What Changed in the 2025 Model

The most notable upgrade is the onboard LiDAR-based obstacle avoidance system, which Jetson previously offered only as an optional add-on. In the 2025 ONE, it comes standard. The system scans a 270-degree arc at 20 meters per second and can autonomously initiate an emergency landing sequence if the pilot becomes incapacitated.

Battery capacity has also been upgraded from the previous 20 kWh to 23.5 kWh, using a new prismatic cell format sourced from a European supplier. Charging time from 20% to 80% now takes approximately 45 minutes using the included DC fast charger.

The 2025 ONE is not a minor refresh. The obstacle avoidance system alone changes how this vehicle can be operated in real-world environments.

Price and Availability

Jetson has not officially announced pricing for the 2025 model yet, but the 2024 ONE was listed at $92,000 USD. Industry sources expect the updated version to come in between $95,000 and $99,000. Deliveries are expected to begin in Q3 2025 for customers who have already placed deposits.

The ONE does not require a pilot license to fly in Sweden, and Jetson is actively working with the FAA and EASA to expand the legal framework for recreational use in the United States and European Union markets.
